Gabriel Group would like to congratulate its client, The Educational Foundation of Alpha Gamma Rho (AGR)! They received the North-American Interfraternity Conference Foundation’s Best Development Effort in an Annual Campaign award on August 18th for the second year in a row.

Following a record setting 2013-14 Loyalty Fund for AGR, The Educational Foundation of Alpha Gamma Rho sought to enhance the Grand President’s Society since approximately 54% of last year’s total raised came from donors in the Grand President’s Society, which recognizes donors who have give $1,000 or more to the Foundation.

As of April 22, 2015 (when results were pulled for the award submission), The Foundation had already increased dollars raised from the Society by 9% over the previous year’s total dollars raised.  Additionally, they had increased the number of Grand President’s Society members by eight members.

“We are thrilled with the success of Alpha Gamma Rho’s Grand President’s Society and are excited to see the final numbers now that the fiscal year has ended! To top it off, AGR received the prestigious NICF’s Best Development Effort in an Annual Campaign award the past two years, and we couldn’t be happier to be a part of their success,” said Elsie Listrom, CFRE, Senior Vice President, Fundraising Services. “We look forward to continuing our partnership with Alpha Gamma Rho and can’t wait to see what 2016 holds.”

Check out A Map to the Planned Giving Gold Mine starting on page 7 of Planned Giving Today written by Gabriel Group’s executive fundraising strategist, Renee Durnin, CFRE.

Over the past five years, Renee has devoured the latest research and scrutinized top trends regarding leveraged giving among charitable donors. Her experience has yielded a host of new direct mail protocols available to charities of all sizes — analytics and products that mine the “gold” hidden right in their own donor database.

Did you know that the #1 predictor of your next bequest donor is neither wealth NOR age? (“Beware of fool’s gold!” Renee warns on page 8.)
