Gabriel Group is excited to name Carole Spencer as a Senior Fundraising Strategist.
Carole comes from Children International where she served as the Vice President of Marketing for four years and tenured a total of 14 years with the organization. Her accomplishments included formulating an annual $20 million budget for an integrated marketing plan using digital, direct mail, DRTV, face-to-face, mobile and telemarketing strategies. During her time there, she increased income five to seven percent annually, while also growing cash donations from $54 million to $106 million.
Prior to Children International, she initiated and oversaw the direct marketing fundraising at the Veterans of Foreign Wars National Headquarters for seven years. Carole was responsible for developing their largest direct mail program (40 million pieces mailed annually) from the ground up. Under her direction, the VFW increased their database to three million donors generating $20 million annually.

In her free time, Carole enjoys cooking, gardening and spending summer weekends at her lakeside cabin.
