New Website Launch

Welcome to the Brand New!

The team here at Gabriel Group is thrilled to be welcoming you to our redesigned and rebuilt website. Below are a few bullets we’d like to share about some of the new features … we’ll be brief because we’d prefer you to spend your time checking out the new site:

  • Straightforward navigation: We have heard that it was sometimes difficult for visitors to find the specific content they were looking for on our previous website, so we’ve set up a logical top-navigation system structured around Gabriel Group, our services and the verticals that we serve. Each one drops down to reveal a clear list of additional sections. Nothing earth-shattering, but that’s the point—we hope you can more easily find what you are looking for.
  • Responsive design: Just about every few months there’s a new study saying the same thing: More and more people are accessing websites on their phones and tablets, and they’re expecting all content, not just a slimmed-down “mobile version,” or a separate mobile app they have to download. The new is a “responsive” website, which means it automatically responds/resizes to the screen of the device you’re using. No more pinch and zoom, flicking left and right on a page, and no separate mobile version.
  • Meet the team: We’re very proud of the Gabriel Group team, and we think you might be interested in getting to know them better or simply putting a face to a name. (This section of the website is a work in progress. Check out our associates’ bios now, and come back later to view their pictures.)
  • Site search: Another new offering—site-wide search. The search box is located on the top right of all pages of our website, just click on the magnifying glass to begin your search.

We’ll be introducing new sections and features in the coming weeks and months, as well as making improvements on any snags or confusions users are experiencing. (Send your feedback here.)

Thanks for your interest and business.

Gabriel Group Adds the Newest Print Technology: Enhancing Quality, Speed and Impact

Gabriel Group, a member of the Xerox Premier Partners Global Network of leading graphic communications providers, adds the newest print technology to better serve clients’ print needs.

It has acquired a Xerox iGen 4 26” Production Press with matte toner that produces digital printing that matches offset and will allow for an increased number of pieces imaged per sheet because of its larger maximum paper size. Additionally, Gabriel Group has added the Xerox Color Press 1000 that is ideal for the quick turn time, but high resolution needs of its Print on Demand clients.

“We are excited about the new mix of equipment in our digital department. Not only will these upgrades help us better serve our partners current needs, but they are a key component to the potential growth of our business,” said Art Kerckhoff, Principal at Gabriel Group.

The nature of graphic communications is changing dramatically as people increasingly communicate and market products and services with digital media, and print’s role evolves as a vital vehicle in the communications mix. Members often share best practices through the organization’s networking and educational programs, helping their colleagues to stay current and continuously advance their offerings.

As a Xerox Premier Partner member for the past nine years, Gabriel Group continues to demonstrate digital print and digital communication leadership. Take advantage of these new capabilities by contacting Gabriel Group at 314.743.5700.

Postal Rates to Increase on January 26th

The United States Postal Service has announced an increase to postal rates in 2014 that will take effect on January 26, 2014.

What you are likely wondering is “what does this mean for me and my organization?”

For regular standard mail, our nonprofit clients can expect an increase of about 1¢ per piece or about a $100 increase for a 10,000-piece mailing, and our for-profit clients will experience about a 1 ½¢ increase per piece or about a $150 increase for a 10,000-piece mailing.

For your convenience, Gabriel Group is making our Postage Rate Chart available for download. Click here to view and save the PDF.
