Alicia M. Lifrak, CFRE
Executive Vice President

Hi, I am Alicia … I joined Gabriel Group after extensive work in the nonprofit and academic sectors. I spent 22 years working for the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) in a variety of senior leadership roles culminating in the position of Chief Executive Officer. Over that time, I experienced every facet of managing a nonprofit business model from fundraising to membership challenges; operational, budget and facility administration; and talent management, branding and crisis communications. As a result, I have gained a broad depth of understanding of the life and challenges of a nonprofit organization.

After moving around the country on behalf of the BSA, my family made the St. Louis region our permanent home and I then joined Washington University in St. Louis in 2016 as a Senior Director to provide leadership and direction to the final stages of their historic $3.3 billion comprehensive campaign. These experiences led me to the Gabriel Group in 2018 where I apply my skills and experience to ensure client success. I earned my bachelor’s degree from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa and attended leadership development programs at the Naveen Jindal School of Management, UT Dallas and Washington University, Brown School of Social Work.

When I am not in the office, I enjoy traveling, running, live music and getting out into nature. I have four children (including triplets!) and spend the majority of what I used to call “free time” with them which is always the best part of my day.

My first job was as a babysitter starting at a far younger age than would ever be acceptable these days.

As a child, I wanted to grow up to be a Justice on the Supreme Court and a mom … I am at least halfway there.
