Hi, I am Bri … I graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a degree in corporate organizational communication. When I started at Gabriel Group, I had zero knowledge of direct mail, so each day brings new opportunities to learn and new insights gained. My love for the nonprofit sector stemmed from my time interning at the Lupus Foundation of America-Heartland Chapter as their social media marketing intern – here, I gained knowledge and experience of the nonprofit world. To this day, I’m thankful for this experience because it led me to Gabriel Group.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy catching a good movie (must have a tub of popcorn), reading blogs, exploring new restaurants, hanging out with friends, keeping up with the Golden State Warriors/Cowboys/Cardinals when in season and volunteering at my church.
My first job was as a hostess at Red Lobster, in Fairview Heights, IL, which at the time was known for being the third busiest in the country.
As a child, I wanted to grow up to be a news anchor – After I traveled to CNN headquarters in Atlanta and did my own news story on monkeys in Brazil (teleprompter and all), I realized I wanted to be a big-time anchor on a major news channel. Since then, I’ve figured out that newsroom hours just weren’t for me.
