Hi, I am Erin … I am a native St. Louisan and recently graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a master’s degree in social work with a concentration in nonprofit management. Before that, I got my bachelor’s in psychology with minors in Spanish and philosophy & religion from Truman State University. I am now a Fundraising Strategist at Gabriel Group and work primarily with food bank clients, which allows me to be involved in hunger relief in the U.S. It is truly fulfilling to know that all the hours we put in make a real difference in the world.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy cooking, traveling, visiting wine country and cuddling up with my two cats and 85-pound bear of a dog.
My first job was working as a receptionist at my Dad’s law firm when their receptionist was out on maternity leave during the summer I turned 16. Since I was a temporary employee and only 15 when I started, I didn’t have many responsibilities; I literally spent my days waiting for the phone to ring.
As a child, I wanted to grow up to be a veterinarian. I loved (and still love!) animals, so I wanted to be able to interact with them on a daily basis.
