Hi, I am Michele … I joined the fundraising team at Gabriel Group in 2012 after working in the direct marketing industry for 11 years. I really enjoy working with our nonprofit fundraising clients and helping them achieve their goals. It’s exciting to see a campaign come together and have great results for all that benefit from it. I have found working with our philanthropic clients to ensure their expectations and goals are being met is fulfilling and rewarding.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy hiking, golfing, reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
My first job was working on my family farm. My siblings and I would get up early every morning to do chores and pull weeds from our five acre garden! It was hard work … but every time we grumbled, my parents reminded us of the following Franklin D. Roosevelt quote: “Happiness is not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort.”
As a child, I wanted to grow up to be a surgical assistance-tech in the operating room.
