Hi , I am Sue … After working with Gabriel Group for just under 14 years as a client, I took the opportunity to come on board and join the Gabriel team in Account Management. I have over 25 years of experience in the direct marketing industry, working for DIMAC Direct, Maritz, and most recently, Rodgers Townsend. My roles have included those in both Client and Account Services as well as Product and Production Management. I am a native of St. Louis and attended St. Louis University, earning my Bachelor of Arts in Communications in 1989.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three children – usually attending their soccer and basketball games. When we aren’t on the sidelines cheering on our kids, I enjoy cooking, reading, listening to music and just enjoying time with loved ones. We also have a dog named Blu. The kids put together a PowerPoint presentation to convince us to get a dog and we bought it. Somehow, all the things they promised to do in the presentation in caring for him have gone by the wayside and now he’s my dog!
My first job was at Busch Stadium working for the St. Louis Cardinals. While the players were on the field, I was underneath it in a makeshift nursery caring for their children during the games. It was a very fun job and I was fortunate to meet many people from all over the world.
As a child, I wanted to grow up to be Cher. I used to watch the Sonny & Cher Show with my parents all of the time. I had long, straight, jet-black hair just like Cher way back then. My parents would often find me on the front porch using my jump rope as a microphone, singing to the cars as they went by.
