Hi, I’m Karen E. … I am so much a St. Louis native that I have lived in the same zip code for my entire life! I have a degree in English from Fontbonne University and joined the membership consultants team in 2013 with over 13 years of nonprofit fundraising and programming experience. Prior to 2013, I worked with the National Kidney Foundation serving Missouri and Kansas and for the Alumni and Development office for the Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis. As a member of the membership consultants team, my primary focus is working with our clients to achieve the best possible results with direct mail and telemarketing efforts.
When I’m not in the office, I most enjoy spending time with my family. I am a theatre nerd who enjoys coffee mornings and winery days. I love to read and dabble with writing when no one is looking. I believe in the power of positive vibes and kitten and panda videos. I am a plethora of useless information – which makes me an valuable asset to most trivia teams.
My first job was a blip at Ruma’s Deli, so it doesn’t really count. I spent two years as a Subway sandwich artist in college – and I can still remember how to do the U cut and the exact order vegetables are placed on a sub.
As a child, I wanted to grow up to be a teacher, specifically of high school English. But life took me down a different path, and I wouldn’t change a thing!
