Karen Williams
Senior Graphic Designer
Hi, I am Karen … I am a Senior Graphic Designer on the Creative Services team. I graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in graphic design. I have worked in graphic design in the St. Louis area in both design firms and direct marketing/mail companies. I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects such as logo/systems design, small corporate magazines and newsletters, basic websites, brochures, annual reports, packaging and digital illustration. This wide variety of experience has greatly helped me here at Gabriel Group.
When I am not in the office, I enjoy visiting friends and spending time with family. Seeing movies (foreign, independent, documentary, classic, mainstream) and reading a variety of books are also activities I prefer. On occasion, I also visit various museum exhibits and art shows around town.
My first paycheck job was during college working at a Fox Photo/Hallmark store, mainly in the camera/photo department.
As a child, I wanted to grow up to be an astronomer at a big observatory. I’ve always been interested in science and history and how they can apply to art, so I believe that’s what influenced my childhood ambition.
